Trade Wars Helper is a players terminal program that maintains an online
database of sectors with their port, warp to, and other information.
Several commands are available to utilize this information in addition
to automating most of the repetitive processes and an EGA/VGA graphics
map display.
In addition to overall improvements, new automated processes includes a
command to haul colonists, product or shields from one planet to another
optionally using the TransWarp Drive when the planets are not in the
same sector. The command to buy product for a planet has been expanded
to optionally sell product at the same time and can also utilize the
TransWarp Drive if desired. There has also been a command added to
steal product for a planet and another new command will reduce the
planet population so as to maximize fighter production. Additional
E-probe routines have been added as well as an RTO to specify the number
of fighters to attack enemy fighters encountered when using the /g and
/e commands.
A new Universe Mapping module that utilized a technique known as Level
Diagramming has been added as an extra charge feature. This module uses
the Crai computers course plotter to determine connections between
sectors without having to explore each sector. A new Ether Probe
command can then be issue to automatically launch the probes so as to
move through as many unexplored sectors as possible. In addition to
efficiently mapping the TW universe, this feature also can be used to
quickly locate the Stardock and/or other two class 0 port.
